Meet The Journey Margaret River Wine Tours & Recommended Australian Tours

G’day,

I’m Mo. Originally from Salcombe in the UK, I’ve called Margaret River home for over fourteen years. What first brought me here was the search for perfect waves, but what made me stay was everything else, world-class wine, incredible landscapes, and the vibrant local community.

Before founding The Journey Margaret River, my background took me across some interesting paths. I began as an outdoor education leader and sea kayaking guide in England, helping people connect with nature and adventure. Later, I trained as a professional chef, which eventually led me to the wine world, managing a busy cellar door here in the region. This mix of food, wine and exploration is the heart of what I now offer through private tours.

I’d love to show you what makes Margaret River so special, whether it’s a summer day at the beach, spring walks along the Cape to Cape or a cosy winter afternoon by the fire with a glass of cabernet. I’d love to show you what makes Margaret River so special and why it is the top of alot of peoples bucket list.

Best regards Mo

Hiking the Cape to Cape with my wife. The Cape to Cape Track is a scenic 123-kilometre coastal walking trail in the Margaret River region, stretching from Cape Naturaliste to Cape Leeuwin. It winds through ancient forests, rugged cliffs, and white sandy beaches, showcasing the stunning natural beauty of the region.
