Terms and Conditions

Welcome to The Journey Margaret River. By booking a tour or transfer with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which are designed to ensure a safe, enjoyable and transparent experience.

Booking and Payment

  • Bookings can be made via website enquiry, WhatsApp, text or phone.

  • A 20% deposit is required to secure your booking. This deposit is non-refundable.

  • If we are able to rebook your cancelled date with another guest, we may offer a refund at our discretion.

  • The remaining balance is payable on the day of your tour or transfer.

  • A confirmation email will be sent once your deposit is received and the booking is confirmed.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations made by guests will not receive a refund of the deposit unless the cancelled spot is filled by another booking.

  • In the rare event that we need to cancel (e.g. due to illness, vehicle issues or severe weather), you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

What's Included

  • Your tour booking includes a private driver, itinerary planning and all bookings made on your behalf.

  • The cost of food, wine tastings and any other personal purchases during the day is not included and is payable directly by guests.

  • We do not include tasting fees, entry fees or lunch costs unless specifically arranged in advance.

Safety and Guest Conduct

  • All guests must wear seatbelts and follow Australian road safety laws.

  • We uphold the principles of Responsible Service of Alcohol. If a guest is visibly intoxicated, we reserve the right to refuse service or adjust the itinerary.

  • We welcome families and guests of all ages.

  • Abusive, threatening or disrespectful behaviour towards drivers or others will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to end a tour or refuse future service in such cases.

Weather and Itinerary Changes

  • Tours run in most weather conditions. However, in the case of extreme weather (e.g. flooding, high fire risk), we may cancel or reschedule for safety.

  • We may adjust the itinerary if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances such as traffic delays, winery availability or road closures.

Website and Privacy

  • We may collect personal information (such as names, email addresses, phone numbers) submitted through our contact forms for the purposes of managing your booking.

  • Your personal details are stored securely and never shared with third parties without your consent.

  • We use basic website analytics to help us understand visitor behaviour and improve our services.
